The King of goals

The Cologne chose him as the "King of the gates" in the FC Superelf - and Dieter Müller is still completely clueless. Indeed, even for its employees yesterday, unattainable, has the current president of the Offenbach Kickers adopted over the holidays.
Kickers-spokesman Thorsten Siegmund's triumph placed immediately on the club website. He also found it "remarkable" that carries away in Cologne - for such a large selection of class strikers - of all the boss of a second division rivals to triumph.
But when the fans are Dieter Müller's achievements and his services just yet present: cup final 1977, double 1978, during those two years of today's 53-year-old also became Bundesliga top scorer with 34 hits ('77) and 24 hits ('78).
In almost 250 League games for the billy goats, the native of Offenbach achieved until 1981, when he left after eight years in the FC direction VfB Stuttgart, 160 goals.
Six of them even get him in a game: at 7:2 against Werder Bremen on 17 August 1977 - a record that remained until today when the besitzt.Auch Dieter Muller in Offenbach's been back at home, where he runs a soccer school is for him, too: One never goes so completely. "Cologne is my second home," he always says, "great city, great fans, a club with a great story."
And a current president Wolfgang Overath colleagues, whom the Express readers voted yes with the most votes to head in Superelf midfield. To him the way, Dieter Müller has very special memories: "I still get hot ears when I think of his temper tantrums ..."
